I made a mistake by not asking for a price before letting them work on my car. That left me open to blatant overcharging for materials and labour unfortunately. As I had used them before, I trusted them which was a bad idea. Extortionate prices were charged for materials that were available online for well less than half the price they charged me. At a charge of more than €80 an hour, extra work was also done that I did not authorise, a common trick in this industry. Not an honest garage by any means. Shame.

Update 15/05: For posting this review, I recieved an irate phone call from this garage claiming the 93.83€ was the correct price for Castrol 5L 5W30LL needed for an oil change. Google this product and you will see how much it really costs. No excuse for doing extra work on my car without contacting me by phone to ask for my permission first. Don't ring me again please.

Prices must be on display – clearly shown in Spanish, including labour rates.

Written quote required – valid for 12 days, with prior notice of any charges.

They must return your car in the same condition if you decline the service.

You must receive a delivery receipt (resguardo de entrega) when dropping off your car.

Any extra work must be authorised by you – no hidden costs allowed. It is illegal to do extra work.

New parts only unless agreed otherwise – and they must show you the parts.

You’re entitled to a proper, itemised invoice – signed and stamped.

No parking charges unless you abandon your car for 3+ days post-quote.

You get a legal repair guarantee – 3 months or 20,000km, plus 2 years for new parts.
