I visited Venus Cars with an interest in purchasing a motorhome from them. It was an hour and a half journey from my home, but they had the temerity to claim i wasnt really interested in buying the vehicle. Their attitude was unprofessional, discourteous and confrontational. The vehicle in question was 10 years old and had no documented service history, with an asking price of €37495. I'm surprised they have lasted in business for 20 years based on their attitude. I'm glad I saw through them before and not after a purchase, some of their other customers have not been so lucky.

Firstly, you initially emailed to express and interest in the motorhome and asked how negotiable the price was. We responded that we felt that it is keenly priced and asked you to let us know if you would like to come and see it or would like a phone call. To which you did not respond. When you arrived to see the van Ginny was attentive and spent over an hour with you and then went on a test drive. However, quite early in the conversation you expressed, in your own words that you ' NEVER PAY FULL PRICE FOR ANYTHING' After the test drive you made an offer €2500 below the asking price. At this point you were told that it wouldn't be accepted as we had only just advertised the van and we had other interest in it and also we know that the van is priced correctly. Ginny messaged me with the offer and, as she had predicted, I declined it. You then left an offer on the table of €36k at which point you were told again that it probably wouldn't be accepted but she would let you know if it was. You called this morning and spoke to Ginny again firstly to say that you were surprised that you had not received a phone call regarding your offer. I this point the phone was handed to me. I was in no way confrontational on the call although I could have been as you accused me of being a liar. I ended the conversation politely and bid you good day. May I also add that looking at your profile you have posted a lot of 1 star reviews. We have been here for more than 25 years and have a great reputation. We are a small business and people like you who post 1 star reviews can damage businesses like ours. Luckily our previous customers who come back to us and our future customers will see through your petty review. This all stems from you not getting your own way on the price and as I said previously you, in your own words, said that you ' never pay full price for anything', which explains why you have enquired/looked at many vans and still not bought one. We do sometimes offer discounts on vehicles and believe that we are very fair on price but not to someone who says that they never pay full price for anything. In short, you have taken our time and efforts and because you didn't get your own way you have given us 1 star and tried to damage our business. Not a very nice thing to do! We have reported your review to Google as well.

JUST BOUGHT A MOTORHOME FROM VENUS CARS. I CAN ONLY SAY THERY ARE FIRST CLASS. NO PUSHY SALES PERSON. ON COLLECTION THE HANDOVER WAS DONE BY GiNNY. EXCELLENT EVERY DETAIL WAS COVERED. I CAN HIGHLY RECOMEND NIGEL AND GINNY AT VENUS CARS. LOVELY PEOPLE.

We recently contacted Venus Cars to sell our campervan. They replied quickly and started the process going straight away. Travelling a round trip of over 800km to visit us to appraise the vehicle, Ginny and Nigel made the process very easy. Courteous, friendly and helpful, we were able to complete the transaction and transfer with the maximum of ease. I could not recommend their service more highly.

Ginny and Nigel were so helpful in the purchase of our first motorhome.
They showed us everything about the vehicle we needed to know.
And Ginny even sorted out the insurance for us.

What can I say ?!! Amazing service from Ginny and Nigel . We were on a tight deadline and they really helped with us collecting our motorhome in peak August time , when half of Spain closes down ! Totally trustworthy . Do not hesitate to use them . Best thing we’ve done .

What can I say about Nigel and ginny ,they are such a loverly couple ,very,very helpful ,make you feel at ease ,and do all the paperwork for you and guide you round and show you everything that you need to know with your new campervan ,would I recommend them yep!!! We have bought 2 motorhomes from Venus Cars and always found Nigel and Ginny to be friendly and helpful. There Motorhomes are always spotless and in excellent condition. They have also bought motorhomes back from us, when we decided that we wanted sell. I can recommend if you want a quality motorhome use Venus Cars. They also do all the paperwork and Ginny speaks perfect Spanish if you are ever worried about insurance etc. that you dont understand.
Thank you Nigel and Ginny we are very happy with our Motorhome.
