If i could give no stars i would , rude, arrogant and ignores calls not trustworthy at all avoid at all costs , we paid to have the car fuelled up , it was filthy and no fuel ( we did get our money back after we chased them ) then when the turbo went he said “ its not covered and not part if the engine ) 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ we are currently seeking legal action as they are refusing to pay any costs at all , good at taking your money even added extra on for insurance , which we only found out when we renewed , please avoid at all costs !!!!!!

I originally bought a 2011 Jeep Compass from this company. Firstly, it took them over two weeks to get me the car, claiming they were preparing it and making sure everything was fine.

After having the car for just two days, the dashboard started lighting up like a Christmas tree. Some of the lights could be put down to a faulty sensor, but the red flashing electronic throttle light was also coming on.

Global Cars collected the car and took it back to Alicante (a three-hour journey) to fix the problem. They then kept it in their garage for three weeks, during which time they gave me an unfit courtesy car. I live on a farm in the countryside and need a suitable vehicle to collect animal feed, hay bales, etc., so this caused real difficulty.

Eventually, the car was returned, with the claim that they had carried out additional work and resolved the issue. However, within 24 hours, all the warning lights came back on and the car became sluggish while I was joining a motorway. I believe the company may have simply reset the warning lights in the hope the issue would last beyond the warranty period.

Being sold an unfit car caused me considerable expense, especially as I needed a reliable vehicle with family visiting. I “had” the car for two months, but was only able to drive it for 3–4 days in total, and I effectively wasted two months of insurance.

I would not recommend this company at all. After returning the car, I later saw it advertised for sale again the very next day at a higher price.

Although we eventually received a refund, there was no compensation for the costs incurred due to what I consider to be negligence.
