Just bought a place in Spain and decided to buy a car sooner rather than later. On looking at the best way to buy I came across CarsinSpain and a delightful old but completely rust free specimen of a Mercedes Benz CLK240 Convertible V6 petrol automatic with low mileage. This was never Mercedes’s finest hour , but nonetheless a good four seater convertible and a bit of fun to boot.
Having now spoken with Paul and been handed over to Lewis the car was prepared , serviced and polished ready for collection, and they even picked me up from Alicante Airport to complete the deal.
A small snag was found with the car over the next three days, but CarsinSpain were pleased to step in and help out , where the car was adjusted whilst we waited . I can’t be more pleased and feel confident to recommend their service . Thank you guys

Looking for a second hand car and discovered this site via Google.
Upon arrival I was impressed with the selection of cars to actually look at, something I hadn't found when trawling around garages more local to me.
Paul couldn't have been more helpful in finalising my purchase.
The car was actually purchased in September but I couldn't collect it until now. No problem, it was kept by CarsinSpain and was ready to go, paperwork all completed and Lewis on site for the handover.
I'm looking forward to many miles of trouble free motoring so thanks .

We bought a 2013 Peugeot from Cars in Spain during Sept 2023.

Whilst we went back to the UK, they carried out a couple of 'precautionary' maintenance jobs due to the age of the car and completed all the paperwork.

When we returned to Spain in November, they collected us from Corvera airport and took us straight to the garage to collect the car.

Apart from a couple of very minor issues such as new wiper blades and side light bulb, it sailed through the ITV (MOT).

A year later and we're still happy with the car.

Unfortunately we had a problem with an electric window mechanism. A garage in Roldan was unable to obtain a replacement part. Remembering that Cars in Spain said that if we ever had a problem to just get in touch. True to their word, even though the guarantee period had expired they obtained the replacement part and even fitted it. All for a very reasonable 'nominal' cost (much less than a repair garage would have charged).

Our experience so far has been good, which encourages us to go back to them when we are ready to change the car for a later model.

“ you bought a budget car” … this is the response I received when my €2650 car went wrong for the second time in 3 months.
They fixed one issue but when I arrived back in Spain it had the same fault. I was told mechanic way away and they would come back to me, never did!
3 days before the warranty expired it had a catastrophic oil leak , initially I was told I was out of warranty so I had it towed to a local mechanic. Upon researching my paperwork I found I was inside warranty by 2 days not 3 days out like they’d said. Cars in Spain then wanted me to arrange recovery from the local guy to them, I had no idea how to do this and I’d already told the mechanic to order the parts based on the fact they’d said my warranty had just expired! As a woman alone in Spain with a broken down car miles from anywhere I had expected a different response.
In my correspondence with Cars in Spain I was told that I’d bought a budget car so things will go wrong.. I’m flabbergasted at their attitude and my new car upgrade won’t be bought from them!!
Customer service doesn’t exist if there’s a problem. They were rude and stopped responding and had no interest in putting things right.

First thing is that it's not where Google Maps said it was, about 400 metres short on the right. It's big enough not to miss.
Went with a dippy friend for support and the process was painless, easy, helpful.
Paul had several cars of interest and one was quickly chosen. I can't comment on the car or the price but he steered her through the whole deal. If you've never bought a car in Spain, it's more complicated than you think.
He was patient and helpful, sorted the insurance too. As to honest? All can say that he was scrupulously honest on things like exchange rates and stuff I do understand. We'll done Paul 😇
