My earliest original appointment was 4 weeks away from my initial request. I arrived on the day to be told the appointment was cancelled because the mechanic was on a training course. Staff at reception said they had tried to ring me the day before to tell me . I Had no missed calls ..I guess its possible but even at that late stage its far from good. The next available appointment was another 4 weeks wait ...now 8 weeks.

The car finally was diagnosed and repaired within two or three working days so that in some ways makes the wait worse .

My considered view of all this and this is not my first visit is that the reception staff really are far too polite and not business like and indulge too many of what appear to be regular customers with pleasant but unnecessary chit chat and need to cut to the chase

Book the car in..give me the keys and on your way..there is a perpetual milling around the counter of people gnashing their teeth wondering if they will get seen to any day soon...am I next ? Please god am I next..what if I am not next I may just die here

I dont want to be too critical of the staff as they are trying to be nice but really just need to be business like and somebody drive the process and experience.

A week to repair my car. No notification of why, just left waiting.
Told on Monday when I phoned it woukd be ready and would get a phone call later that day. No courtesy call to say not.

The service was outstanding, Els Mardaga listened to what we wanted in a car and went above and beyond to get one that fitted the bill. We were kept informed at all times of progress.
Nothing was too much trouble and we were always made to feel that any question was a valid one, if she didn’t know the answer she went above and beyond to get the information we requested.
